2009 New York City FIRST
Tech Championship

The inaugural New York City FIRST Tech Championship event
that will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Jacob K.
Javits Convention Center. This year’s event will include
48 high school FIRST Tech Challenge teams from New York
City, Long Island, and Putnum, Rockland, and Westchester
Counties. The event is a state-wide celebration of high
school students working smart in science and technology.

Food Policy:
The Javits Center, known for being the world’s marketplace, offers a wide variety of food options, containing its own dual-level food court. There will be a seating section designated for teams behind the FRC pit area, and a public seating section at the venue as well. Food may be brought into the arena.
